Sally Smart’s I Build My Time is the artist’s first venture into time-based media and performance. Working with shadow puppetry and dance choreography, Smart will be animating the cut-out elements from her assemblage work through stop-motion animation and film.

3. Master of Stillness: Jeffrey Smart paintings 1940–2011
Samstag Museum of Art, Hawke Building, City West Campus, University of South Australia, 55 North Terrace, Adelaide SA. 11 October to 14 December 2012.

4. Suzie Idiens: Counterpoint
